Panda Lust

Awhile back I was craving some mad Panda Express Orange Chicken. Ohh so yummy!! Oh so make me fat but oh so so worth it!
However, do you know where I live?
I think the nearest Panda is in Laramie...or Salt Lake.
Not really in the mood to drive four hours for food...almost but not quite.

So I went to Walmart and bought this.

It was fast, it was easy and it was, well, it was delicious!
Seriously almost tasted like Panda's, without all the grease!
We liked it! Even the baby approved! But let's be honest here, what doesn't he approve of really?
And Mr Picky had a peanut butter sandwich, so he couldn't care less either way.
So the next time you're stranded in a podunck town and you have major Panda lust, go get some Wanchai Ferry! It's really really yummy and way cheaper than driving four hours.

Head to Salt Lake, cause here in Laramie, we don't have a Panda Express. Chinese restaurants yes, but not Panda Express. Just to save you the trip. And it's good to know that the Wanchai Ferry is edible.

I have made that and it is good! I haven't got to eat a Panda Express yet. Idaho Falls just opened one.

two things...I LOVE orange chicken from panda, I'm going to have to try that yummy dinner one of these nights. (thanks for sharing your secrets) :-)...and second - regarding your last post - every mom feels like the worst mom in the world. I have one of those moments at least 13 times a week. :-) Don't ever get down on yourself and just keep plugging along, remember the work you do really is the hardest work anyone could ever do, and you have to endure it without pay...but payment comes from those sweet moments that make your heart melt and make you realize how awesome your kids really are, regardless if you wanted to kill them 3 minutes prior. :-)
