30 Days: Day 29

Day 29: 3 WISHES

This one I can totally do, no hesitation.

Wish #1- I wish for my kids to grow up and be happy. I wish they choose good careers and spouses and lives so they can just be happy and content and successful and never want for anything.

Wish #2- I wish for us to be able to actually find our dreamhouse and purchase it. I know I have mentioned this before, but it's a big deal. I wish for our house to sell really fast and for a great price and THEN for us to be able to purchase said dreamhouse. And to live there for a really long time because heaven knows this moving stuff SUCKS! And to be oh so very happy and fulfilled.

Wish#3- I wish for 3 more wishes.

Ha ha no I'm totally kidding.

Um, let's see.

I wish to be hot and skinny and totally rich.

Yup, that's what I'm going with.

Deal with it.

Izacc's Words of Wisdom

August 15, 2011- While playing with Amelia he wrapped her up in a blanket and said, "Look mom! She's all snuggled up like a bug in a carpet." I think he was trying to say snug as a bug in a rug, but I get it.

July 2011- After church Izacc couldn't find me for a few minutes. On the drive home he said "If you had Life Alert I would have found you faster."

June 12, 2011- "Her ears are so cute! If I see them again I'm going to die!"

April 8, 2011- "Mom, guess what. I have a girlfriend named Anna. And when we get bigger we're going to get married. And then she'll have babies. And they will call you Grandma. But you'll still be my mom."

My life just flashed before my eyes.

March 2011- Izacc won't let me cut his hair. He wants it to look like "Justin Beaver" of whom he refers to as "Beaverton"

March 2011- I was listening to the radio and Izacc came into the room head banging his little heart out. I asked him if he like this song. He said, "No, mom, I don't. My brain is plugging it's ears."

February 2011- On a drive back home, my mom was trying to entertain the boys by putting Cheetos on a straw and told Izacc they were shiskabobs. Izacc then took a marshmallow bunny, skewered it and proclaimed "Shiskabunny!"

October 4, 2010- I said that I think I have the cutest kids around. Daddy said "I think Mommy's biased." Izacc said "No Jesus buyed us."

September 2010- Izacc's favorite songs to request are Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold, Your Betrayal, by Bullet For My Valentine, and Airplanes and the night sky and shooting stars by "that singing M&M." Oh and Follow the Prophet. At least he's well versed in all genres!

August 2010- Izacc's clock on his wall ran out of batteries. One night, as I was putting him to bed, he gasped and said, "Mommy! Quick! My clock is going to run out of time! Find some batteries!"

June 15, 2010- While driving to Ikea, I pointed out the temple on the hill. When Izacc saw it, he asked me, "Was it built by the wise man or the foolish man?"

May 2010- Izacc made about 10 funny faces in a row and then proclaimed, "Those are my all my species."

May 2010- We were driving around and I commented on how pretty the moon was. IZ said "Are we going home? Because I want to keep driving and look at the beautyness!"

April 2010- Upon seeing that I had put away the toys he was playing with, he came into the room and proclaimed, "What the hell, mom?" He also informed me that I "scared the hell out of him" in Wal-Mart. Again, not sure where he's getting it from but I have to give him props for at least using it correctly.

February 21, 2010- We were listening to Kid's Place Live and the song "Heigh Ho" came on. IZ said, "Mom, they're saying 'pie hole' that means there is a big hole in their pie! Why is there a hole in their pie?"

February20, 2010- "Hey mom! Nice socks. What are those? Monkeys? Hey, speaking of which, I gotta get these bad boys off!" as he ripped his own socks off. Not kidding, that is exactly what he said...I almost died.

January 28, 2010- "Mommy, you make the best cookies and the best noodles."

January 27, 2010- IZ was pushing the cart at Walmart, he said, "Look Mom. Am I pushing the cart?" I said, "Yeah you are! Good job!" He then said, "Yeah, I'm pushing the hell out of this cart!" Yeeeaaaaaahh...uh...not 100% on where he picked that one up...really.

January 1, 2010- While sledding around the neighborhood, we crashed. IZ stood up and turned around, his glasses crooked on his face and simply said, "What'd we hit?". He later crashed with Gramma and stood up and said, "That's it. I'm done. I'm going back to Gramma's."

December 25, 2009- My Aunt, Uncle and Cousin and their kids came over to our house to check out our Christmas loot. IZ was very eager to show off everything he got and tried to get everyone to follow him down the stairs. When everyone left, he came up stairs and said, "Where did those humans go?"

November 18, 2009- IZ was watching a movie and I told him it was time to take a bath. He said, "Okay, let me go square my movie." I asked him what that meant. He said, "A square makes it stop and a triangle makes it go." So smart that kid.

November 11, 2009- EB has started saying "ma ma ma ma" and when IZ heard this, he continued EB's song by singing, "My my my poker face."

November 5, 2009- Ever heard the song "Say Hey (I Love You)" by Michael Franti & Spearhead? There is a part that goes, "The more I see the less I know. But I know one thing, That I love you (baby girl) I love you
I love you I love you." IZ, instead of singing "Baby Girl" sings "DIRTY BIRD!"

October 20, 2009- IZ was looking at a place mat with dinosaurs and their names. He then stated "This is a quadruped. He has four legs and a long neck and a big nose and red eyes and his name is Broccoli-saurus."

October 10, 2009- IZ was using the potty after eating a big meal and said, "Those French fries made me poop! Look! Lets go get some more so I can poop again!"

September 30, 2009- IZ and I were taking a bath and he informed me that I was Free Willy and he was the tiny, tiny boy. I think it's time to go on a diet.

September 16, 2009- We were walking to the park and saw some little kids playing peewee football. I asked IZ if he wanted to play football someday. He said no. I asked him what he wanted to play, expecting him to say soccer or baseball. He, with out even thinking, said "Duck duck goose!"

August 5, 2009- We went to the county fair and decided to ride a few rides. The Ferris wheel was closed so IZ and I rode another circle ride. It was too much for him and he cried through the entire thing. He shouted things like, "This ride makes me creepy" and "I'm just a little boy! I want to go home!" Bad mommy.

July 3, 2009- IZ climbed into bed with us at 6 am and was snuggled up watching cartoons. I was nursing EB and Thom started snoring. IZ looked at me and said, "Daddy is sleeping crazy! Listen!"

June 30, 2009- After walking through the house to find several places where a marker had been used, on walls, on the stove, on the TV, on the Wii, I asked IZ if he did it. "Yes" was his reply. When I inquired why he said "But it's my job!" I should have figured it out when earlier he said he was going to work.

May 23, 2009- IZ wanted to watch a DVD and so I took the one I was watching out, which was a Friends season, and when he saw it said, "Mommy, I am sick and tired for Friends."

May 14, 2009- When IZ is doing something, he will often say, "faster, faster, evil faster!" (Evil instead of even)

March 2009- While visiting my parents, IZ got to try his first marshmallow bunny. He took a bite and put it on a chair. A few minutes later, we heard his shriek, "My rabbie!" upon seeing it stuck to Gramma's unsuspecting bottom.
